The Manchester United outcast is wanted by number of Italian clubs.

A string of Italian clubs are reportedly keen on a move for  Alexis Sanchez, but all interested parties are being put off a move by the Chilean’s enormous wages.

The 30-year-old wants to leave Old Trafford after a disastrous 18 months at the club, but a complicated contract that sees him take home around £560,000-a-week is now believed to be a major obstacle for any potential suitors hoping to put an offer on the table.

After scoring only three Premier League goals for United since leaving Arsenal, Sanchez is surplus to requirements in Manchester.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are in front of Sanchez in the pecking order and Solskjaer wants to give considerable game time to Daniel James, the €20 million signing from Swansea City, and 17-year-old forward Mason Greenwood this season.

Sanchez has fond memories of Italy and would like to play in Serie A again. Juventus, Napoli, Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all interested in signing the Chile star, according to The Times. And it is believed that all five of the Italian clubs favor a loan move with an eye to a permanent deal later on.

However, in addition to the report that none of the mentioned sides are willing to pay a substantial transfer fee, they aren’t willing to even offer close to what the player is currently earning.

The Red Devils are now faced with the prospect of subsidizing Sanchez’s salary to help facilitate a deal that would see him leave the club.
