Andy Cole Insists Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Should Be The Manchester United Manager

Andy Cole believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done a remarkable job as an interim manager and should be handed the Manchester United job with immediate effect.

The Norwegian is expected to be handed over the reign soon as various reports stated the former United forward could be given the job in this week. His arrival at the Old Trafford was anticipated to be a temporary affair but his excellent management skills have been a massive boost for the club.

The former Molde manager has guided the club on the brink of a top four finish and the club is also dreaming of a Champions League semifinal berth.

Cole said, “I would give him the job

“When he came to the club I could see why they were doing it, but we’ve got to be all brutally honest – I don’t think anyone could have sat here and said he would do as well as he has.

“He has gone in, he has galvanised the club, they’ve got results at the right time.”

“Fair enough, they have lost the last couple, but I just think he is trying to get Manchester United playing the way they used to play – attractive football, scoring goals and being entertaining.
