Diogo Dalot has talked about the toughness of his struggle at Manchester United.
He said, Yeah, it was more like a release of something I’ve been feeling inside me after these three months. It’s been a tough journey, but like I said, these kind of things, a win and a goal make us feel like I’m doing a good job in fighting, working every day and taking the opportunities.”
The wing back was brought in under Jose Mourinho as a young defender. However, the player has not been able to make himself a first team starter in the entire team over the years.
This saw the signing of Aaron Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw. Dalot’s confidence had been hurt even more.
However, the weekend’s 6-0 thrashing of Tranmere has seen them get some confidence back.
The defender scored a brilliant goal as other out of fom players like Jesse Lingard also scored after one year. Harry Maguire scored his debut goal.
It was a good outing overall and with Luke Shaw in poor form, the Red Devils defender may have found his feet back. Dalot is ready to fire again for United?
