Erik ten Hag claims there’s a better mood around the Manchester United camp.
The Red Devils will be facing their arch rivals Man City over the weekend at Old Trafford for their next Premier League tie.
Erik Ten Hag’s men are on a three-match winning streak in all competitions and are expected to bounce back from their underwhelming campaign so far.
Man United showcased a commendable performance against Copenhagen on Tuesday in the Champions League.
The manager believes the side showed a sense of togetherness and wants them to repeat the same against City on Sunday.
“There is a great spirit and they are together and that’s important, always as a team,” Ten Hag said.
“The team is more than the sum of the individuals. That is what we have to take into the Manchester derby to be on one page and then fight together and then we have a very good chance to get a result and even to win the game.
“They are together, they fight together and celebrate together. If they have setbacks, they support each other. That spirit is always needed to be a successful team.”
