Sofyan Amrabat is still a concrete option for Manchester United.

The 26-year-old midfielder was one of the star performers at the World Cup in Qatar and has garnered attention from some of the top European clubs.

He has previously played under Erik Ten Hag at Utrecht in the Eredivisie and a reunion is on the cards this summer.

With just one week remaining in the summer window, it remains to be seen whether Man United make a move for the Moroccan midfielder.

Fiorentina wants €25 million for the prized midfielder but the club be prepared to let him leave as low as €20 million.

Man United desperately needs to bolster their midfield ranks before the summer window concludes on September 1.

Amrabat is out of contract next summer and this would be the last opportunity to get a reasonable fee for the 26-year-old.

The Moroccan is excellent in possession and has the ability to control the tempo from the base of central midfield.

Fiorentina chief Joe Barone admits that the club won’t halt Ambrabat from leaving this summer.

“We are always ready for the entires and exits,” Barone said, as per Labaro Viola. “If there’s someone who isn’t happy, we can satisfy him between now an the end of the transfer window.”
