Former Manchester United player Louis Saha believes Jose Mourinho has what it takes to lead Manchester United forward.

The Portuguese has come under immense scrutiny for the way Manchester United started the season. There were plenty of speculations that Mourinho would get fired. However, a few wins in the past few weeks saved Mourinho.

Nevertheless, Manchester United are in a very tough situation currently. They are currently 8th in the Premier League and trail table-toppers Manchester City by 12 points.

Saha is of the opinion that Manchester United should stick to Mourinho who he thinks can turn things around for the club.

The Frenchman said, “He is definitely someone who can do that. He has got the quality, the pedigree, there is nothing wrong with that. We make mistakes as humans and he has done it. He is a grown man and he will identify where he has to improve.

He doesn’t have as much margin to do it but the club have identified they need to be stable to be consistent. It is all about results. If you win you get time, if you don’t…”

Manchester United resume their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on Saturday before a Champions League encounter against Young Boys on the 28th.
