Man United starts having talk with the representatives of Real Madrid forward Joselu. He evolved his career in the Spanish capital since his move to La Liga in 2019.

He scored 36 goals in 113 competitive appearances for Alaves before he left the club following their relegation. He went on to play for Espanyol. He netted 16 goals in 34 matches and ended up as the third-leading goal-scorer in 2022/23. He later moved to Real Madrid on loan.

He hasn’t been regular for the club but scored 14 goals in 45 matches. Los Blancos are yet to decide will exercise their €1.5m (£1.3m) option to sign Joselu on a permanent basis.

As per journalist Matteo Moretto, Man United are planning to offer Joselu an alternative option after holding talks with the player’s agent. Meanwhile, the Spaniard wants to stay at Real Madrid.

Man United consider him a vital pick along with Hojlund in the forward line. It won’t be easy for United as few more European clubs will go for him. It could be great addition for the club if they sign him.
