Manchester United are chasing talented Leeds United winger Jack Clarke, according to reports.
The youngster has been getting all the attention since breaking into the senior team and United are the latest team to join the chase. The teenager has been involved heavily in the last few matches in the Championship and could play a pivotal role in Leeds’ promotional push.
The Whites are currently topping the Championship table and are expected to maintain the tempo throughout the season. They have failed to get past the final hurdle in the last couple of seasons but manager Marcelo Bielsa is determined to take them to the top flight next season.
Predominantly a left winger the 18 year old is also pretty comfortable on the right side. He has also racked up two goals alongside two assists in the second tier and Leeds have already rejected advances of a number of clubs including Southampton and Crystal Palace.
The winger is valued at around £12m but United are yet to submit a formal bid for the player. But his family wants him to stay at Leeds as the promotional dream is looking very much possible this season.
