Ole Solskjaer Confirms Meeting With Paul Pogba Regarding His Agent's Comments

Football’s super agent, Mino Raiola created a lot of controversy when he put Manchester United on full blast over his client, Paul Pogba.

The Portuguese said that United are “out of touch with reality” and would ruing legendary players like Maldini and Pele in their current state of affairs.

Ole Solskjaer took a fair bit of time to respond to these claims but he finally did. The Red Devils boss plans on holding talks with Pogba himself. It is unclear whether the midfielder will stay at Old Trafford beyond this season or even beyond this month.

When asked if agents should speak about clubs, Solskjaer replied, “No. I can speak to Paul about it. I don’t think I should talk to – or about – agents that talk about us. But Paul is our player and agents are hired by players – not the opposite way around. It is not agents’ players, it is our players.”

Solskjaer was further pressed on his communication with Pogba regarding the matter. He simply said, “What me and Paul are talking about, I don’t have to talk to you about. That will be between us”

“Paul’s very committed to coming back, playing well for us and it is hard when you are injured to go and talk about all sorts,” Solskjaer continued. “I think his talking needs to be when he comes back on the pitch.”

United are due to face Wolves in the FA Cup third round on Saturday evening.
