Cristiano Ronaldo sustained a hip injury but is back in training.

The Portuguese star was unavailable in the Manchester derby with a hip flexor issue and could miss the Spurs clash this evening.

Thought the manager has said that Ronaldo will be available during the weekend but pundits Roy Keane and Gary Neville believe the 36-year old is not injured and there’s more to the story.

Rangnick also confirms that Cavani is back in training after missing the past few fixtures with injury.

Ronaldo and Cavani are frustrated and will desperately hope to get back on the scoresheet.

The manager said in his press conference: “Cristiano resumed training yesterday. He trained for the whole session and I expect him to be training today as well. He trained well, like the rest of the group, so I would have thought that he’s available for tomorrow.

“I haven’t asked him if he’s happy at the club, but what’s important is he is fit again.

“What’s important is that he and Edi are both back in training and are both available for the game.”
