Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show against Norwich City last night.

The Red Devils won 3-2 against the Canaries thanks to a Ronaldo hattrick which kept their Champions League qualification hopes high.

The Portuguese legend has scored 21 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season since his homecoming last summer.

United have moved up to fifth and are in contention for the Champions League spot.

They are now just three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and would want to win the rest of their remaining games.

Current manager Ralf Rangnick was asked whether Ronaldo would play a part under the next manager.

“This is in the end not my decision,” Rangnick told reporters. “Cristiano has got another year of contract. This will be a decision for the new manager to take, together with the board.

“Again, he showed against Tottenham and today’s game, that he can be the difference maker, in moments like this, in games like this, and it is no coincidence he has the best goalscoring record of all players in history. He showed that again today.”
