Paul Pogba’s situation at Manchester United is anything but precarious at the moment. The Frenchman has openly accepted that he is looking to leave the club this summer in search of a new challenge. The rumours of his exit have intensified even more in the last 24 hours, after his agent Mino Raiola confirmed his intentions to switch clubs.
Juventus and Real Madrid are the two parties who have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old. According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid are willing to offer £72m plus either of Gareth Bale or Isco to United for Pogba.
Initially, Los Blancos were okay with meeting the midfielder’s £134m price tag. However, Zidane and co are reluctant to pay up, willing to offer one of their players as a part of the deal.
Both Bale and Isco have their futures at the Bernabe under the cloud after Zidane’s reappointment as the manager. If the reports hold any veracity, it will be interesting to see which player United choose to go with the deal.
