Manchester United fans got a mini heart attack when they saw young Daniel James staying down after a nasty clash while on national duty for Wales playing against Croatia.
United signed Dan James from Leeds earlier this summer and he has been a revelation of a signing. In an average United side, it has been young James who has shone the brightest.
He is their main attacking threat and hence United were scared to see James go down. However, reports have later revealed that the collision was minor and James is completely fine.
The player himself has come out and calmed things down.
“There was a few tackles flying in but you always expect it in these games,” he told Sky Sports after the match.
“I’m fine. I think he just caught me in the head but I didn’t get knocked out fortunately.”
Giggs also added to the story saying that Dan James was fine and him staying down was just a part of his antics!
He said: “Daniel James went down and stayed down with a bit of acting.
“But the medical staff went over, he was compos mentis and we did all the checks at half-time and he was fine.”
