#4 Exorbitant wage demands

Manchester United should not sign Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala moving to United will be a dream come true for the fans, but not for him though. In exchange for all the glories he will leave behind, the Argentinian has already asked an £18m-per-season salary to be on par with the club’s highest earners, Alexis Sanchez and David De Gea.

Dybala is definitely a fantastic player, but their are certain reasons why even he doesn’t deserve that mammoth figures annually. First and foremost, Manchester United need to know that players have held them at ransom for mounds of cash – even though they don’t deserve it.

Alexis Sanchez pockets £500,000 a week but has hardly delivered in comparison to his salary. Marcus Rashford has recently signed £250k-a-week and yet there is no certainty that the Englishman will continue to deliver what is required of him.

Added to that, Dybala isn’t a Premier League proven superstar. The English top tier is known to be rigorously tough to new superstars. His agents have also demanded a whopping £13m in the deal.

Unless and until the 25-year-old proves he can handle the roughness of the Premier League, he certainly doesn’t deserve the wages he is asking for.
