Bruno Fernandes reveals dressing room reaction after dramatic Brentford win.

The Red Devils have lost six of their opening ten games so far this season.

Brentford were leading 1-0 in the contest and United were staring at their third consecutive home loss.

The Bees held the advantage into stoppage time and that’s when Scott McTominay made an unforgettable 10-minute cameo.

The United academy graduate scored in the 93rd and 97th minutes to turn the game around and bagged three crucial points for Erik Ten Hag’s men.

Bruno Fernandes explained what the reaction was in the dressing room after a dramatic comeback.

“Relief, happiness and we all agree that we deserved this result because during the 90 minutes, we controlled the game really well and we could have scored in the first half,” Fernandes said.

“I know it’s difficult to be on the bench, everyone wants to be playing, but Scott came on for 10 minutes and scored two goals. It’s Fergie time at United, it’s quite normal to score at this time of the game and part of it being Fergie time, it has to be an academy player scoring too. Scott gave us the win today and we’re all really happy for him.

“It was the desire and togetherness we had for the whole game, the effort we put in, was really good.”
