Jadon Sancho is inching closer to a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The Man United forward remains frozen out by the Dutch manager after his outburst against Ten Hag caused a major uproar in early September.

Sancho was banished from availing any first-team facilities and the club has formally asked the player to apologise to the manager.

But the idea was quickly rejected by the England international and he was expected to make a move in the January window.

His former club Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the outcasted winger on loan for the remainder of the season and the deal could be finalised in the coming days.

Sancho is eager to return to the Bundesliga where he made his name in European football.

Romano said: “This week is really important for Sancho’s move to Dortmund. I’m hearing that the conversation continues between Man Utd and Borussia Dortmund. It’s a very positive conversation.

“When this type of big player goes on loan, it’s not a small player or a young player, but in this case, you always have to decide on the loan fee and the salary coverage. There are important details like the taxes and all this stuff to clarify between the two clubs.”
