Fabrizio Romano unveils major developments in Jadon Sancho’s future

In a major update on Jadon Sancho’s future, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed crucial details about the winger’s imminent loan exit from Manchester United to Borussia Dortmund.

Romano exclusively informed GIVEMESPORT that both clubs are currently in discussions, ironing out the final details before sealing the deal.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT on Monday afternoon, Romano said:

“With the player, everything has been fine since last week. He wants to go to Borussia Dortmund as soon as possible, and the two clubs are discussing the final details of the move.

“I think, from what I’m hearing today, Manchester United will get a package around €4million or €5million between the loan fee and salary coverage.

“The player is already okay with making the move, so it’s just about the final details and then Jadon Sancho will finally travel and join Borussia Dortmund.”

The 23-year-old, who made a high-profile £73 million switch to Old Trafford from Dortmund in July 2021, has been embroiled in a public dispute with manager Erik ten Hag.

Following a social media post where he claimed to be a scapegoat for the team’s defeats, Sancho was barred from using senior squad facilities at Carrington.

Despite the challenges faced at Manchester United, Sancho is on the verge of returning to Signal Iduna Park to revive his career during the second half of the season.

Romano suggests that Dortmund is increasingly confident of securing the loan deal, and Sancho is eagerly awaiting the green light to join the Bundesliga side.

The Red Devils, holding a strong negotiating position with Sancho’s substantial contract, are set to recoup up to £4.3 million. This includes a loan fee from Dortmund and contributions towards the player’s wages during his stint in the iconic black and yellow strip.

The deal is expected to be officially announced after the final negotiations are concluded, marking a significant turn in Sancho’s career trajectory.
