United may face competition with Tottenham and PSG in signing Milan midfielder
Manchester United are locked in a three-way battle for Italian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. In a recent report, La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that the Red Devils are interested for Inter Milan midfielder. United are planning to sign the Croatia international next summer. Premier League giants may face competition with Tottenham and PSG in this process.
Brozovic was a standout performer at the centre of Inter’s midfield last season and helped them win the Serie A title. The Croatia international scored two goals and registered seven assists in 42 appearances for the Italian club.
The 28-year-old midfielder averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 1.1 clearances, 0.8 shots and 1.4 key passes per game in the winning campaign for Inter Milan. It will be a good signing for Old Trafford.
Brozovic’s contract at San Siro will expire in 2022. The Croatia international is a tough-tackling central midfielder and he can help Ole’s side to boost their attack. He could serve as an upgrade over Fred and Scott McTominay.
