Manchester United sets sights on Real Sociedad’s Takefuso Kubo

Manchester United is reportedly planning on signing Real Sociedad’s deadly winger Takefuso Kubo in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite the fact that Mundo Deportivo Gipuzkoa has denied recent speculation of a swap deal involving Antony, sources reveal United’s genuine interest in the 22-year-old Japanese international.

Despite Kubo’s expressed satisfaction with his life at Real Sociedad, the Red Devils are thought to be preparing to lure him with a big salary raise, maybe six to seven times his current earnings. The Premier League giants are ready to make a compelling offer in order to secure his services in the upcoming transfer window.

Real Sociedad remains determined in their stance, having placed a €60 million release clause for Kubo. Additionally, Real Madrid retains the option to re-sign him for €33 million, gathering €27 million if he selects a different club.

Manchester United’s recent buying, Jadon Sancho, who was supposed to be the permanent solution for the right flank position, has struggled to make an impact, creating speculation about his exit.

Similarly, Antony, who began the season with three goals in three league games, has struggled, scoring only one goal in the 35 games since.

Kubo, who has nine goals in 17 La Liga appearances this season, is an attractive prospect for Manchester United. Despite Sociedad’s refusal to accept anything less than the buy-out clause, Kubo’s potential arrival next summer may be a game-changer for United.
