Donny van de Beek has joined German club Eintracht Frankfurt on six-month loan.

The 26-year-old midfielder made only six starts for the Red Devils since his arrival at Old Trafford three years ago.

Following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat this summer, Donny van de Beek was expected to have a very limited role under Erik ten Hag.

Van de Beek was also been excluded from the 25-man squad for the Champions League campaign.

The Dutch midfielder struggled to break into the first-team and managed just two appearances this campaign.

He has now joined Frankfurt until the end of the season with the German club holding €14m buy option.

The 26-year-old will join an Eintracht side who are currently sitting sixth in the Bundesliga table.

His contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer of 2025 and he will positively seek a permanent departure when the season concludes.
