West Ham could rival Dortmund for United winger Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho still has over two years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.

West Ham United are giving tough competition to Borussia Dortmund in pursuit of Man United midfielder Jadon Sancho. The Englishman will likely leave the club in 2024 due to irregular time under Erik ten Hag.

Man United are not giving game-time to Jadon Sancho and the whole drama started in August 2023. Sancho had a tussle with Man United boss Erik ten Hag. This is the big reason why the English midfielder is not allowed to take part in any game.

The 23-year-old is linked with his former club, Borussia Dortmund who are ready to make a loan offer for him during the January transfer window.

Jadon Sancho has made 82 appearances in all competitions for Man United, scoring 12 goals. He made a move to United after completing his £73m transfer from Dortmund in the summer of 2021. He still has over two years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.

A recent report adds that Dortmund have opened initial talks with Man United to discuss the possibility of re-signing Sancho on loan for the rest of the season.

Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Stuttgart are also looking to get him on board in Germany. As per Daily Mail, West Ham are one of several clubs ‘monitoring’ Sancho’s situation.
