Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Very Pleased With All Star Manchester United Performance

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is relieved following Manchester United’s brilliant win over Cardiff City in the Premier League.

Solskjaer was given the charge to lead United the United way and he made a grand start to his United managerial career. The former Red Devil has been tasked to push United all the way and wanted to deliver a message with his possession based attacking style.

United looked full of intent from the very first minute and it paid off very early as Marcus Rashford ‘s early free kick saw United breaking the shackles in Cardiff. Strikes from Ander Herrera and Anthony Martial before the break put United in a comfortable position but the Wales side hit back as Camaresa reduced the deficit from the spot.

But a second half double from Jesse Lingard completed the demolition as the Red Devils scored five for the first time since Alex Ferguson’s last game in Charge.

The manager said, “The attitude and application of the boys when you go out there and see them, the attitude has been fantastic, the dressing room, the way they approached this game.

“It’s been a difficult week for everyone and to get the focus and perform as well as they did [is impressive].”

“I’m pleased with all of them – every single one of them – but of course it’s a threat.

“When you’ve got Martial and Jesse Lingard down either side, Rashford up top with Paul supporting them, it’s exhilarating to watch and as long as we keep that standard up we’ll keep picking up points.”
