Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Reveals He Had Few Words With Wayne Rooney

Ryan Giggs has hailed the contribution of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following Manchester United’s triumphant win over Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.

The former United forward took up the charge following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho and has made an instant impact at the club with his freeflowing attacking football. One of Mourinho’s main drawback was he failed to unlock the potential of Paul Pogba.

But the French midfielder seems to be a completely changed player under the guidance of the new manager and the World Cup winner has delivered two excellent performances to steal the show in the last two games.

Solskjaer has been handed a free role by the United hierarchy for the remainder of the season and Giggs backs his former teammates for more success at the club. “Ole’s first home game and especially the positivity that came from the Cardiff game, the performance and the result, I think everyone was looking forward to the game.

“The big players are turning up – (Paul) Pogba with the goals, David (De Gea) with a great save and Marcus (Rashford) just getting better and better each game.

“So, there’s a real positivity around the place, which we need that to carry on now going into the Bournemouth game.”
