Sancho transfer saga takes a new twist!

Manchester United began the chase for Jadon Sancho last month.

The Borussia Dortmund winger finished a brilliant season after scoring and assisting 40 times throughout the season. He has since then been linked strongly with a move to Manchester United. Dortmund for their bit made their stance on Sancho clear by telling any suitor that they have slapped a £108 million price tag on him. 

The player has a contract that runs at the German club until 2022 and Dortmund boss Zorc gave United a deadline till 10 August to sign the player. However, United felt that the price was way too high in the current market and refused to buckle. 

On 10 Aug, Zorc ended up announcing that since nobody had made any approach that met their demands, Sancho would be staying at the club till 2022 and more since Dortmund had secretly extended his contract by another year and Sancho was going nowhere this summer. 

United would have found the news disappointing but according to an Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, it could be back on and depends on Sancho doing something to force through a move, as United have stopped talks for now. 

It would all depend on how Sancho approaches it as United are not ready to buckle!
