Manchester United’s board are in dilemma on whether to choose Mauricio Pochettino or Erik ten Hag as new manager.
According to The Mirror, chief executive Richard Arnold, football director John Murtough and technical director Darren Fletcher are leading the search.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Pochettino, Ajax’s Ten Hag, Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui and Spain boss Luis Enrique have been shortlisted.
The club wants the manager ahead of the new season. The report adds that Pochettino and Ten Hag are the clear favourites for the job.
Pochettino has the knowledge of the Premier League. He has worked with top clubs like PSG, Tottenham, Southampton and Espanyol.
On the other side, Ten Hag is also a good choice and is considered easier to hire following the scandal involving former sporting director Marc Overmars at Ajax.
