Erik ten Hag lauds Rasmus Hojlund’s unique talent and training dedication

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s head coach, has expressed his admiration for Rasmus Hojlund’s potential ability, praising the young striker for his unique approach both on and off the field.

Hojlund, who joined the Red Devils from Atalanta in a high-profile £72 million trade last summer, has had mixed results in the Premier League but has thrived in the UEFA Champions League.

Ten Hag underlined Hojlund’s unique abilities, emphasizing his exceptional performances in European competition, where he has five goals in six matches.

Despite being criticized for his Premier League form, the Danish international has found an impressive ally in his boss, who praised Hojlund’s training philosophy and different approach among his fellow players.

Erik ten Hag stated“As you said, he has scored at the highest level. Champions League, five goals, is massive for the performance of a young player.

“I don’t think there are so many young players who can do that, he has the potential. We recognise that and we are sure he will get there.

“He will go and score in the Premier League, I see how he is working in training. We have to work on our attacking game and he has had his opportunities.

“The team have brought him to the right place, but it can always be better. As you say, he has not scored so far in the Premier League. So we have to work on that.”

As the expectation builds ahead of an important encounter against Liverpool, Ten Hag sees the upcoming game as an opportunity for Hojlund to make an impact.

The manager stresses the need of linking the club’s plan with the striker’s strengths, asking the rest of the team to play an essential role in providing goal-scoring opportunities for the young Danish phenomenon.

United fans will be waiting with bated breath to see if Hojlund can translate his prowess on the training field into an outstanding performance on the big stage against their archrivals.
