Manchester United are reportedly making a move for Benfica midfielder Joao Neves during the winter transfer window. The 19-year-old could be a great addition for the club.
The young talent came through the academy system at his club and made his debut last year with first-team. He also earned his first Portugal cap last month.
Neves has made 36 appearances for Benfica, scoring once and providing two assists. He has appeared in 16 matches across all competitions during the 2023-24 season.
According to Record, Man United are considering making an attempt to sign him in the winter window due to the growing interest in his services.
The 19-year-old is believed to have a £103m release clause in contract. He could be allowed to leave his club for around £61m.
The Benfica midfielder is now firmly in the plans of Portugal head coach Roberto Martinez and will be bidding to be a part of their squad at EURO 2024.
Donny van de Beek could leave next year and Casemiro is dealing with injury. Sofyan Amrabat is only on loan at Old Trafford from Fiorentina.
