Speculations has grown over the player’s future in recent weeks
Marcus Rashford burst on to the scene for Manchester United back in 2016 as he marked his debut for the club by scoring two goals against Midtjylland in the second leg of the Europa League. He even scored two goals against Arsenal in his Premier League debut.
Since then he has been ever present for the Premier League giants and has established himself as one of most talented youngsters in the world.
Since Jose Mourinho took over the charge of Red Devils in 2016, The 20 year old has featured in 105 of the club’s 121 competitive games, as both a starter and a substitute, more than any other player.
The England International was in good form for the club last season but found his first team opportunities to be somewhat restricted under the Portuguese, starting only 16 games in the Premier League. Since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal during the January transfer window, he has been mostly used as a substitute.
However, the Striker got a place a in the England World Cup squad this summer and helped his team to reach the semi-finals.
The player has featured in 3 of the 4 Premier League fixtures so far this season, starting in only 1 of them against Leicester City. He was shown a direct Red Card against Burnley and will miss the next 3 games due to suspension, with many suggested that it was due to frustration for not being a regular.
The Englishman though scored 2 goals for the Three Lions during the International Break as he started both the matches and earned plenty of applause for his performances. He has also been urged to leave the club in order for more regular game time.
Rashford is set to stay and fight for a place with Manchester United, according to The Sun. He loves the club and has not yet given up on trying to prove himself at Old Trafford.
