Moreover, he has put up some impressive figures this season, averaging 3.1 shoots, 0.5 critical passes, and 1.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Spanish top flight. Furthermore, the Netherlands international has a WhoScored rating of 7.06 on average.

Marcus Rashford has been in poor form in recent weeks, while Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are both expected to leave the club in the summer.

Juan Mata’s contract is slated to expire at the conclusion of the season, while Mason Greenwood has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on suspicion of rape and violence.

Given the circumstances, Manchester United want some new winger signings if they are to bolster their current team – and Arnaut Danjuma fits the bill well.

The Toffees approached him on a loan last summer, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer persuaded him to stay with the promise of future playing time.

However, until his dismissal in November, the 24-year-old hardly played under the Norwegian. Before his loan leave, his status did not improve under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Van van Beek is a skilled midfielder with exceptional imagination who has fallen out of favour with two managers. He might not want to repeat the circumstance the next season.

Tielemans has turned down a new contract offer from Leicester City and will not be returning to the club.

According to recent sources, the 47-cap Belgium international will not be short of suitors when the market reopens. Liverpool, Arsenal, Juventus, and Real Madrid are said to have joined United in the pursuit of Tielemans, with Leicester lowering their asking price to £35 million.

Previously, the Midlands team was thought to value the technically skilled ace at over £60m, but that sum has been significantly reduced due to his contract issue.

United are now in transition under interim manager Ralf Rangnick, and a new manager is likely to come in 2022/23. And resolving the midfield may be one of the first problems for Rangnick’s replacement.

With Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, and Juan Mata all out of contract this summer, and Donny van de Beek’s future uncertain, substantial signings may be necessary.
