Fabrizio Romano reveals four defensive prospects on Man Utd’s radar

Fabrizio Romano, a renowned transfer expert, has shed light on Manchester United’s tactical strategy for strengthening their defensive lines in the upcoming transfer window. After dealing with budget constraints and near misses in the previous transfer window, the Red Devils have finally honed in on a critical need for a new center-back.

In their quest for defensive fortification, Manchester United has identified four potential defensive prospects from other clubs, according to Romano. Jean-Clair Todibo, a Nice player, is undoubtedly on the Red Devils’ radar. The club has already had beneficial negotiations with the player’s agents, understanding Todibo’s strong desire to play in the Premier League.

The Manchester club looked into signing Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen the previous summer, but the financial demands were prohibitively high. However, Tapsoba remains a viable option for the coming transfer windows.

Another player attracting Manchester United’s eye is Benfica’s Antonio Silva. Despite being declared not for sale in the previous summer, Silva remains a favored preference for the Red Devils, and their interest in him continues to grow owing to an excellent relationship with the player’s agent.

Manchester United is also interested in Sporting’s Goncalo Inacio, a left-footed center-back. Inacio’s diverse qualities have kept him on the attention of a number of clubs, including rivals Liverpool. Manchester United’s pursuit of defensive additions continues to be an intriguing story, with these four players appearing as potential linchpins in the club’s drive for defensive solidity.
