According to reports, Marcus Thuram wants to join Manchester United

It is presently unclear whether Anthony Martial, a fellow Frenchman, will be able to stay healthy for the remainder of the season, leaving the Red Devils without a focal point in the midst of the assault.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Borussia Monchengladbach is prepared to trade Thuram in January for at least £8.7 million. According to Transfermarkt, he has scored 13 goals and sent out four assists in 17 appearances for the Bundesliga team this year.

It seems sense that they would be reluctant to allow him to leave in the summer as a free agent. Thuram made a name for himself at the World Cup this winter, and like Cody Gakpo of the Netherlands, he is a versatile option for Erik ten Hag thanks to his blistering speed and ability to play in a variety of attacking positions.

In his five World Cup games with France, the 25-year-old managed two assists, and he improved in the final penalty shootout loss to Argentina.

Another player who has been highly linked to a move to United this winter is Gakpo. Thuram might be signed by United on a Bosman or later in the summer.
