Zinedine Zidane Next Manchester United Manager Odds

Zinedine Zidane, a legend in football, has effectively ruled himself out of becoming the next manager of Manchester United. Despite being linked with the renowned managerial position at Old Trafford, Zidane has made public his rigorous standards for taking such a position.

“When I was a player, I could choose almost every club. As a coach, there aren’t 50 clubs I can go to. There are two or three possibilities. If I go back to a club, it’s to win. I say this in all modesty. That’s why I can’t go anywhere.

For other reasons, too, I might not be able to go everywhere. Which ones? The language, for example. Certain conditions make things more difficult,” Zidane stated.

“When people say to me: ‘Do you want to go to Manchester?’ I understand English but I don’t fully master it. I know that there are coaches who go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work differently. To win, many elements come into play. It’s a global context. Me, I know what I need to win,” Zidane added.

The Frenchman, who is known for his incredible success as both a player and a manager, has made it clear firmly that he is not willing to work for anyone. Zidane’s close ties with Real Madrid, where he achieved enormous success during two managing stints, seem to have played a significant role in his decision. His record with Los Blancos of three straight UEFA Champions League trophy and two La Liga titles speaks strongly about his devotion to the club.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has a decade-long Premier League drought and hasn’t won the UEFA Champions League since 2008, a far cry from the club’s historic heritage. The club’s recent troubles have increased pressure on current manager Erik ten Hag, but it appears that Zidane will not be the one to save the team.

As Manchester United continues its search for a proven manager, it remains to be known who will take over the legendary club, but Zidane’s new remark suggests it won’t be him.
