Erik ten Hag interested in signing Axel Disasi from Monaco.

The Red Devils have announced the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea last week and are getting closer to signing goalkeeper Andre Onana.

United have also set their eyes on signing a new centre-forward and youngster Rasmus Hojlund could be the ideal solution to the club’s No.9 solution.

Ten Hag also wanted a sign a new defender as Harry Maguire looks set to depart this summer.

He has earmarked Monaco defender Axel Disasi as the next target who had an impressive campaign with the French club last season.

The Dutch manager has earlier tried to persuade Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae to Old Trafford but he decided to join Bayern Munich instead.

Disasi has scored five goals and made four assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

According to sources, Monaco are demanding a fee of £43million for the defender and United are willing to meet their asking price.

United are keen to offload Harry Maguire, so signing a top defender should be the club’s utmost priority.
