Man United preparing to make a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Club manager Erik Ten Hag is desperate to sign a central forward this summer and has identified Harry Kane as his top priority.
But it’s highly unlikely that Daniel Levy would want to sell his star striker to a Premier League rival.
So United are looking to explore other options if they fail to sign the England international this summer.
Kolo Muani has been one of the top forward last season slamming 15 goals in the Bundesliga for Frankfurt.
He has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich and PSG who are also interested to sign a traditional poacher this transfer window.
Journalist Christian Falk believes United should hurry to make an offer before PSG tries to make a move.
“Randal Kolo Muani and Manchester United is getting hotter, the English club finally wants to make its long-awaited offer,” said Falk.
“They also have to hurry,” he continued. “Muani is also on the list at Paris Saint-Germain. After Karim Benzema’s farewell, Real Madrid will try to land Kylian Mbappé again. Paris would have a replacement in Muani,” he said.
