Paul Pogba Would Love A Move Back To Juventus, Raiola Reveals

Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola left the door open on an Juventus return in the future.

It is no secret that the Frenchman wants out of Manchester United. Raiola came out and admitted it in public last year.

The San Siro was a very lucrative ground for Pogba, much more than it has been at Old Trafford. He emerged as a young talent at 19 and became one of the world’s finest midfielders. At United, his form has dipped in and out under various managers. He is currently nursing an ankle injury which has kept him sidelined for majority of the campaign.

“Italy is like home for Paul. He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen after the Euros,” Raiola told reporters. “Paul wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Manchester United if they are in a difficult situation.”

Pogba cost United €105m back in 2016 which was a world-record fee then. They will be looking to recouping that entire sum if not make a profit on him. Juve have the opportunity to free up some funds by letting go of squad players like Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot.

They already made a sizeable profit on selling Emre Can to Borussia Dortmund in January. They can pull the same move on Rabiot and Ramsey, all of whom they acquired for free over the past two years. Pogba will add a level of creativity and flair that none of these players could for the Serie A champions.

The mistake Manchester United are making with Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes has signed for Manchester United and already has been played in the wrong position.

The centre attacking midfielder was one of the deadliest players in Portugal and was signed for a lucrative fee earlier last month.

However, at United in his very first match, he was pushed down the midfield into a deeper lying role.

His former coach Carvalhal from Sporting Lisbon has been vocal of the mistake at United and has told what the correct position of the player is.

“He is not a number 10,” Carvalhal told Sky Sports. “He is a midfielder but he has developed that ability to break the line of the defence to score goals.

“He shoots, he assists, the passes and the free-kicks. But he is not a 10, he is an 8. He is a box-to-box player who understands very well the game. He doesn’t just play. He understands everything that happens around him.

“He can organise the team, he can talk, he can give feedback. He is kind of like a manager on the pitch. He can organise things in the last part of the pitch. He is a really exciting player.”

Anthony Martial Did Not Enjoy Public Criticism From Jose Mourinho

Anthony Martial Did Not Enjoy Public Criticism From Jose Mourinho

Anthony Martial is not too fond of Jose Mourinho’s coaching methods, the Frenchman revealed.

Reports claimed that the relationship between the two was never optimal and it significantly soured towards the end of Mouriho’s Old Trafford reign.

Martial dropped in and out of selection under Mourinho but has since earned a starting berth under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He has even been allowed to play in his preferred number nine position even though, failing to impress in recent times.

Martial said, “It’s true that I’d have preferred it if he’d [Jose Mourinho] told me [criticism] directly, there’s no need to say it in front of everybody. After that, you definitely want to prove him wrong.”

He continued, “He didn’t start me during the first few games and each time I came on, I scored. In the end, he told me ‘You see, now you understand what I wanted’. It can get to you. You just want to show him you deserve to be on the pitch.”

Mourinho criticises his players in front of the press to extract a reaction of them. The Champions League and Premier League winning manager has done this countless time and has been successful at it. However, the same test does not prove fruitful for all players, as in this case of Martial.

Manchester United Given The Green Light To Make Jadon Sancho Offer

Manchester United Given The Green Light To Make Jadon Sancho Offer

Manchester United are reportedly strong contenders for the signature of Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho.

For months, the England international has been linked with a move back to the Premier League but the question has been to which club.

All the big-guns, Chelsea, United and Liverpool are interested in signing the 19-year-old Bundesliga sensation. All of them are ready to break the bank for him as well, such is the hype behind Sancho. There is no doubt over the Manchester City youth product’s footballing talent.

Dortmund have not yet received an offer for Sancho but that situation is bound to change soon enough. Jesco von Eichmann (Sky Germany reporter) tweeted out, “Michael Zorc, the director of Dortmund, said last week in an interview that he hasn’t had an offer for Jadon Sancho yet. Today, I asked him again, and he just smiled.”

United fans have gone into a frenzy over the perceived availability of Sancho. United have already splashed out over £200m on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes. Club chairman, Ed Woodward claimed that more signings are underway in their pursuit of realigning the club to winning ways.

Sancho would be a brilliant addition to this United side but at what cost? Will he single-handedly be able to answer the club’s problems or does Woodward need to address key issues first?

Since September of 2019, Manchester United’s most expensive player has only played 71 minutes of football and has had 72 stories of his transfer away from the club.

The name Paul Pogba has become more synonymous with the transfer window and less with the Manchester United fine performances list.

Pogba joined the club a few seasons back under Jose Mourinho after being kicked out by Sir Alex Ferguson. While away at Juventus, he became one of the best players in midfield.

His return to the club was expected to bring in lots of joy. However, it has proven to be a tough and rigid journey for both player and the club.

While United have struggled of their own accord, Pogba has done little to fix things up.

He has now reportedly made it clear to the United hierarchy that he wants a move away to Real Madrid where he can team up with the likes of Hazard, Ramos and Kroos.

Ole has been pretty thick about Pogba, much like the rest of his tenure at United and says Pogba loves the club. The player has been out since September and is now closing in on a return with the season almost over.

Pogba posted that he is “feeling good” amid his strength and conditioning training after his surgery.

The England international has been a long-time target for the Red Devils.

And they could finally make their move in the summer.

Manchester United are leading the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, according to The Mirror. The 19-year-old star is known to be high on the wish list of United, Chelsea and Liverpool, although his €150 million price tag has put off Jurgen Klopp, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard to do battle for his signature.

The report claims that United have established strong links with Dortmund and believe they are in pole position. Dortmund are resigned to losing the player but are hoping that a bidding war could push the eventual fee up to somewhere between €120 and €150 million.

And in addition, Sky Germany now say that Sancho will end his three year stay at BVB this summer: “He will leave Dortmund this summer, that’s for sure,” reporter Jesco von Eichmann said. “It’s not clear to which club he will change. Manchester United is one of the big clubs that are interested, that I’ve heard.”

“Michael Zorc, the director of Dortmund, said last week in an interview that he hasn’t had an offer for Jadon Sancho yet. Today, I asked him again, and he just smiled. There will be some offers for Sancho in the future. He is improving. He was very tired at the end of the first part of the season but now he’s very fit and performing very good. He improved his behaviour.”

Why United need more than Pochettino to change the club

If there was to be a vote tomorrow on which is the most in crisis club in the Premier League, Manchester United would probably rank ahead of Norwich City.

This is keeping in mind that Norwich are 20th in the table and will probably get relegated. However, they have played entertaining football, packed above their punch and got a board and a manager who are in sync – everything missing from Manchester United.

At Old Trafford, their director Ed Woodward knows a little more about football than the aliens earth might get a visit from one day. At the managers chair, is a person who by his own admission used “Fantasy Manager” video game to scout and judge players.

The players in the clubs are divas of their own making earning in thousands of pounds week in week out and all the owners care about is the off-field marketing.

So where to fix this situation from?

They have already tried to good managers like Louis Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho before putting a puppet like Ole in charge. However, there are now new talks of Pochettino coming over.

Poch is a seriously talented manager who has developed immense talented and taken Spurs from mediocrity to an elite level. Can he do the same at United?

Probably not since he will not be given resources – instead he will be given star players who might or might not fit his bill.

So then should Ole stay in charge? Definitely not as Poch will at least get them top 6 unlike Ole who will definitely struggle for top 10 next season.

We think Ole has to go – probably back to his room where he can play his video games – but along with him Woodward needs to get packing as well. The man is a brilliant businessman. Unfortunately for him, its football.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar talks about how the team will go about preparing for the upcoming Chelsea match next week – and possible starters.

“Yeah, it’s very good. I think the boys enjoyed a break, they needed a break, but now they are back, focused and they have been working well.”

Ole plans to use the skills of Bruno Fernandes to win the Chelsea match on Tuesday.

“Well, overall, he is a very, very good footballer and his brain is obviously quicker than many others. He has got loads of attributes that we are going to get used to. We will get used to him and he will get used to us. His passing range, his deliveries, his movements, I am just pleased to see him here enjoying himself,” ruminated Ole.

When asked about Bruno’s training, he said: “Yeah, he trains and he trains and he trains, so his fitness levels and enthusiasm is brilliant.”

Ole Gunnar further aims to get Scott, Axel and Tim on the pitch soon – maybe for the Chelsea match?

“I hope that we will see some of them before the end of this week, but next week will be a big week for them as well to get them match fit, so hopefully we can get them back on the pitch with their kit on soon.”

Ighalo is also going to be initiated into a match soon – however, it’s unclear whether he’ll be playing for the Tuesday match.

“Yeah, he is going to travel with us. We will just see his fitness work this week and I think we will get him sharp. We want to integrate him as quickly as we can because, of course, he is desperate to play for us.”

Mauricio Pochettino Teases Manchester United With Talks Of Premier League Return

Mauricio Pochettino Teases Manchester United With Talks Of Premier League Return

Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he would love a Premier League return amidst links to Manchester United.

Plenty of news sources has claimed that the former Tottenham Hotspur boss could replace Ole Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

Pochettino lead Tottenham to the Champions League final last season while Solskjaer’s United are currently six points off the top four positions. Fans have been pretty transparent about their dissatisfaction with how the club is being run, not backing Solskjaer or the business being done in the transfer windows.

“To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League,” Pochettino said on ‘In The Pink’ podcast. “It’s going to be difficult, I know, and for now it’s a moment to wait and we’ll see what happens.

“It’s a moment of recovery, to think about yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready. I’m ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.”

Pochettino added: “I was in Argentina, I was in Qatar, I was in Spain and I have Jesus [Perez, assistant manager to Pochettino at Spurs] who follows the news a little bit but I notice the rumours.

“All of the coaching staff accept that there are rumours. We deal with rumours naturally. The people need natural people, normal people and we don’t say that we are unique with that but we are not actors and we don’t do anything that we don’t believe.”

If a Premier League job does not present itself, Pochettino is open to moving elsewhere in Europe. “If we move to Europe,” the 47-year-old Argentinian said. “We are going to miss England.”

Jose Mourinho doesn’t think Manchester United can reach top 4

Mou led United from the summer 2016 until the end of 2019.

But the former Reds boss has not included the club in his list.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has surprisingly left the Red Devils out of the list of four teams he thinks are fighting for Premier League top four. Mourinho believes that along with Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton, Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also fighting for the top four spots.

But surprisingly Manchester United, who are currently eighth on the table and six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, were left out of his list.

“Wolves and Sheffield United are fighting for the top four, [the managers] they can say no, and I understand if they say no but the reality is that they are. Not just because of the position that they are in the table, but because of the power and quality,” the Spurs boss told Sky Sports.

“They arrive in this situation where, in the eyes of everybody, they should be more than happy, but they are not more than happy. Wolves bought an important player [Daniel Podence for £17m] to try to improve their situation.

“Sheffield bought an important player [Sander Berge for £22m], they beat their record in the market to try to improve their team. So it’s not just about Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton. It’s not just about us. It’s also about these two clubs who I have to say [are] fantastic.”
